Tekashi 6ix9ine Sentenced to Jail Time!

There was plenty of talk that Tekashi 6ix 9ine would walk away from court as a free man after he gave evidence against his former friends – but the rapper is heading to jail as reported below…

6ix9ine has been sentenced to 24 months in prison.

Tekashi has been sent down for numerous racketeering, firearms, and drug charges, despite having cooperated with the government and testifying against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

The judge explained his decision to send Tekashi to jail…

“Mr. Hernandez, I’ve given it a lot of close thought, including your cooperation,” Engelmayer said. “The following are my thoughts, & this is going to take a little while. You are in custody for 13 months. I agree you deserve a great deal of credit for cooperation. However, I cannot agree with your counsel that time served it appropriate. In my judgment, your conduct is too violent and selfish to make 13 months reasonable. You will not be going free today.”

It could have been much worse, as Tekashi had faced a maximum of 47 years behind bars, having pleaded guilty to nine charges in total.

That said, we wonder how Tekashi will cope with time in jail – especially since it is now public knowledge that his testimony led to the imprisonment of his former associates and gang members Anthony “Harv” Ellison, Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack, and former manager Kifano “Shotti” Jordan.

Tekashi also gave other information to the authorities, including alleging that Trippie Redd is a part of a gang called the Five-Nine Brims and Jim Jones is a member of Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods…
